Updated: October 10, 2026

At gozcimnastigi.com we respect your privacy. This policy explains which personal data are processed when you visit the site or use the contact form, why and on what legal basis we process them, who we share them with and what rights you have. It has been prepared with the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) in mind.

Last updated: October 2026.

Advertising and Google AdSense

The site is free because it is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure performance and prevent fraud. If you consent, ads may be personalised based on your interests; if you do not, Google may show non-personalised ads based on general context, such as the page you are reading, which still use cookies for limited purposes like frequency capping and fraud prevention.

You can learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services, and manage your Google ad settings, through Google's own privacy pages.

We may use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful and where content can be improved. We use Google Consent Mode, which means Google tags adjust their behaviour to your choices: if you decline analytics or advertising cookies, the corresponding cookies are not set, and only limited, cookieless signals may be sent to Google as permitted by its terms. Details of individual cookies are in our cookie policy.

Who we share data with

  • Google (AdSense, Analytics), as described above.
  • Hosting and technical providers that store and deliver the site and process data on our behalf.
  • Authorities, only where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some providers, including Google, may process data outside your country, for example in the United States. Such transfers rely on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, and on the transfer rules of the KVKK.

How long we keep data

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period for security. Consent records are kept for as long as needed to show your choices. Data held by Google is subject to Google's retention settings.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Article 11 of the KVKK you have, among others, the right to:

  • find out whether your personal data are processed and access them;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have data deleted or anonymised where the conditions are met;
  • restrict or object to processing, including processing based on legitimate interest;
  • receive your data in a portable format where applicable;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing;
  • learn which third parties data have been shared with, and claim compensation for unlawful processing;
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, such as your local data protection authority in the EU or the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) in Turkey.

To exercise any of these rights, use the contact form. We will respond within the time limits set by law, normally within 30 days.

You can review or change your cookie choices at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Children

Our content, including pages on children's eye health, is written for parents and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the contact form.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data. No online service can be completely secure, however.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version. Please also read our terms of use.
